MY APPROACH
My approach blends a documentary-led perspective with subtle editorial influence, creating imagery that feels both deeply authentic and beautifully refined. I know that the most special photos in your gallery will be the ones you least expect, the moments that unfold naturally and quietly – love-filled glances, laughter, gentle embraces.
It's important that when you look back at your wedding photos, you don't just remember how the day looked – you remember how it felt. My job is to ensure I capture images that preserve the atmosphere, energy, connection and emotions of your wedding day.
I'm also there to notice the little things – if a hair is out of place, I'll fix it before the photo is taken. If someone is missing from a group photo, I'll make sure they're found. If you're feeling nervous, we can shift the atmosphere by playing some music. You can count on me to be present, calm and intentional while quietly taking care of the details so you can simply enjoy your day fully immersed and without a worry.

Can we meet with you before booking?
Definitely! I'd love to meet you before you book to get to know each other better, hear more about your wedding day plans and to make sure I'm the right fit for your day. We can meet for a coffee if you're local to Queenstown, Wanaka or surrounding areas, or over a video call if you're based further afield.
How do we secure you as our wedding photographer?
Once you’re ready to move forward, your date is officially secured with a signed contract and a 30% deposit. From there, we can begin planning all the beautiful details together.
How would you describe your photography style?
My approach is documentary-led and refined with a subtle editorial influence. I focus on capturing your day honestly as it unfolds — preserving meaningful moments, natural emotion, and all the thoughtful details that make your celebration uniquely yours, while also creating beautifully composed imagery that feels timeless and elevated.
Do you offer planning and timeline guidance?
Yes — absolutely. I offer personalised support throughout the planning process, including timeline guidance to help ensure your day flows seamlessly while allowing space for relaxed, meaningful imagery.
Do you photograph proposals or offer engagement sessions?
Yes to both!
I would be so honoured to document your proposal whether it is on a mountaintop, at the lakeside or at home. Wherever this wonderful moment unfolds, I can be there.
Engagement sessions are a beautiful way for us to connect before the wedding day while capturing this exciting season of your lives. They also help you feel more comfortable in front of the camera before your celebration. The Heirloom and Devoted Collections both come with a complimentary engagement session.

Do you work with second photographers?
Yes — a second photographer can be added to your collection for additional coverage, more perspectives, and greater flexibility throughout your day.
How will our images be delivered?
Your images will be delivered in a beautifully curated online gallery, making it easy to download, share, and relive your memories with family and friends.
When will we receive our wedding images?
You’ll receive a preview gallery within 48 hours of your wedding day and a highlights gallery within three weeks, followed by your full gallery within eight weeks.

The process
Before your wedding
Your booking is confirmed and now the fun starts! I'll always be just an email away if you need timeline, vendor or planning advice. In the lead-up to your wedding day, we'll connect on a video call or in person to walk through the details of the day. I'll offer timeline guidance and thoughtful support to ensure space for meaningful imagery and so that everything flows seamlessly.
During your wedding
Your special day has arrived! With a calm presence, I'll be there to document the day as it unfolds. My approach is documentary-led with subtle editorial influence, and I will offer gentle direction where needed, rather than orchestrating moments. Most importantly, I'll allow you the space to genuinely be yourselves. My goal is for your images to remind you how the moment felt, rather than just what it looked like.
I'm also there to notice the little things – if a hair is out of place, I'll fix it before the photo is taken. If someone is missing from a group photo, I'll make sure they're found. If you're feeling nervous, we can shift the atmosphere by playing some music. You can count on me to be present, calm and intentional while quietly taking care of the details so you can simply enjoy your day fully immersed and without a worry.
After your wedding
That was the best day ever and I know how much you want to relive it all over again. Knowing this, I will deliver your preview album to you within 48 hours. Within two weeks, you'll receive your highlights album – a collection of the very best images from your wedding day, from start to finish. Then, within eight weeks after your wedding it'll be time to pour your favourite drink and settle in on the couch to view your full gallery of wedding images.
Once you've chosen your favourite images, I can also help you bring them to life through beautiful prints and albums.
